You'll have to wait till Friday's addition of Fab 5 Friday No.2... That's just a teaser.

The waiting is the hardest part...or something like that. That's one sharp paint job, from what I can tell.

I've been waiting to see a white 44, and that looks to be the right shade of white to boot. Ballin'.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

Don't pay any attention to ^this guy^, he doesn't know WHAT he's talking about...
i will say though that I am only a bit taken aback by how much of a warm reception this frame set and it's paint has received. I was not expecting it in the least. When I designed the paint, I had fingers crossed that the client would accept it or a variant there of. There were others too in the line up from the design process. For the record, I actually love color and really enjoy when the client allows me to create something unique. Trouble is, most clients to date (not that this is troubling) have seen my bikes and I think they want to emulate that understated look with that flat black. My favorite color is actually red... I love black but what drove that is early on when I was just making prototypes for myself to test, I'd have the powder shop powder them black as they always run that color each week so there was never any delays or added expenses.
There is a Rohloff 29er that Jay did just before this one which is in a similar aesthetic. That one may open some eyes too? So there's more on the way. Hopefully, this will let all the clients and potential clients know that yes, I do indeed offer bikes other than just black. But I am always happy to have it powdered black if that is what the client really is set on.

I typically shoot with 3 lights (one left, right and a 3rd overhead). Well, One of the bulbs burned out and yours truly DROPPED the last spare bulb on the floor just as I took it out of the box. So I was down a light. But realized I'd be fighting an uphill battle with those shadows so I just decided to make them even more pronounced and go with it. I think they look visually interesting all stretched out like that on the backdrop. Good to hear you find them interesting too. Sometimes when you get lemons, you gotta make lemonade, right?

Paint work is Jay Nutini, green is matched to Chris King's Sour Apple color, while the white actually has a pearl effect to it. So both the green and white have a bit of sparkle/pearl look to them in the light (which I just couldn't capture with my camera+lighting unfortunately).

Re: Huntsman : Details
I'm painting my bike black until they make something darker...unless it's a sick white and green design. Can't wait to see more.

You'd think I'd know to do that. Apparently I need to get my head on straight. Thanks for the tip, sir.

Well, if you makes you feel any better, I'm still keeping this poster up despite your admission that your favorite color is red.

I like that you can see the reflections of the other two posters in the glass. Accidental, I think not.

Funny...I didn't actually notice that until I posted the picture. I was too concerned with making sure my Phrenology bust, giants of Russian Literature Matryoshka, and (fake) monkey skull remained in the crop.

And now it's time for...
