Re: Public service announcement
i have to say, i love the branding and vibe of your stuff. if i were in the market for a sweet metal hardtail mtb, with just a touch of authoritarian 1950s industrial vibe to the whole thing, your list is my first stop. hopefully some day i can be in just that market. for now, back to posting less and working more, i have kids to feed, ya know?

WTB 2.8 specs
Hi Kristofer,
I saw pictures of that beautiful 27.5+ you had displayed at Interbike with WTB Trailblazer 2.8's on the Scrapper i45 rims. I'm getting started on my next build which is going to be using this tire rim combo, but waiting for the tires to come in. I'd like to start my design and was wondering if you could share the tire measurements (actual diameter, max casing width@ , etc.).
I've searched around and called WTB, but haven't had any luck.
Thanks,
Tom

Hey Tom: The nominal internal width is supposed to be 45mm (Which matches the i45 Scraper rim) and that is the key factor of a Plus sized wheel: the rims internal width measurement. They (WTB) measure the casing 59mm +/- 2mm and they measure the casing from the side of the knob profile. Total wheel diameter with tires looks to be 727mm +/-2mm. They just call it 28.5” for convenience. PM me and I'll email you the WTB PDF schematics directly.

Here is the direct link via Soundcloud.
Give it a listen after the jump. Interview lasts just about an hour in duration. You can also listen to more interviews via their podcast here. Hope you all enjoy!

Every once in a while you get lucky?!! Kris, you're forging your own luck and doing a stellar job at it.
Ok... enough back slapping. Back to the bench everyone.

I'm my own worst critic. More so in reference to lighting, how the shot is framed, the balance of all the elements, etc. all coming together in one shot.
