soak tank corrosion inhibitors

Hi all,

Could anyone point me in the direction of an appropriate corrosion inhibitor for the tank? can i just use the stuff for central heating systems?

Also when you say warm water in the tank....... got an immersion heater with a thermostat so if anyone could be more specific that would be grand!

Actually the first thing I'd try is to throw some borax in the tank at a medium concentration, say 0.1M (about 40 g per litre).

we used fish tank immersion heaters they do stainless ones

The other stuff Jamie linked to can be obtained from welding shops often used to destain stainless fabrications
