not dead yet...
No ladies and gentlemen, Peacock Groove is not done building.
While I must say that after NAHBS this year, I came back to an incredible amount of, well, shit.
There really is no other word for it.While I may have been off the board ( as in here or anywhere) for a while, it was a lot of work and many personal, business and family things to contend with. The struggle is still here, but so am I.
I wish the best to all of you, and hope to interact soon. Who knew a little show was so much work?

Peacock expands production

expanding production?
Ha that is funny.
How about a nice little story about that pic?
These two you kids, Sophia and Isaac, if I remember correctly, were completely fascinated by the little doo dads ( dropouts and stainless bits) and had a ton or questions. Sophia asked more in depth questions than people at the NAHBS!!
Her questions were structured as when I explained one thing, she went right into another question that was well beyond her 9 or 10 years.
But, the best part, I showed them how to "sand" the rust and some waterjet lines off of a dropout. They were taking turns and were both very , very excited to be doing this. As they went on, I knew it would be down to a small argument as who gets the sandpaper.... so I said : " Hold on a sec guys..."
And grabbed the sandpaper, ripped it in half, gave them each a piece, and than said whoever does a better job on their dropout gets a soda.
They both looked great, and maybe this will stick with them.
Either way, they and I had a blast......
happy Sunday everyone.
