If you haven't seen Parasite, go.
If you haven't seen The Host, find it on Prime or Vudu and see it.

Very happy for him to have walked out with as many awards, all well deserved. Did anyone happen to see the limited B&W release of the film last week?
SUCH a good movie. See it on the big screen if you can. The audience experience is fantastic.
Incredible flick. A deep dive into darkness and humor with a healthy dose of Korean culture.

I'd post a trailer of The Host but neither of the versions I've located even begin to do the film justice. I think I first saw it the summer after its theatrical release, at the recommendation of a few young adults whose opinions I respected who could not stop raving about it. They were right. It's a very special movie. I saw it again last year and it's held up completely.
Snowpiercer is pretty wonderful too. A wild, original film.
Now I gotta check out Mother and Okja!
GO!
As long as we're talking Korean horror flicks, check out Train to Busan.
It's crazy good.
