I have watched them all and this was the first time I ever changed the channel to ski jumping during the game.

I watched none of it. Thankfully.

My wife turned on the half time show as she thinks Adam Levine is a “cutie”. I think Maroon 5 sounds like nails on a blackboard.

Even she professed disappointment and turned the channel.

I did not watch the second half either.

I don't watch football. But I'm annoyed that my FB news feed this morning is full of people talking about how bad the halftime show was. It's always bad, can we stop acting like we're surprised by it sucking???

I heard there were nipples exposed during the halftime show -- scandalous!

I historically pay zero attention to football throughout the season, and then on Super Bowl Sunday every year I go to a party hosted by some old dear friends I've known since the early 1980s. It's a "Super Bowl Party" in name only; it's basically a party where the TV happens to be on, and that ends when the game ends.

Yesterday the party ended when the halftime show ended.

And even lasting that long was a chore.

I watched the first quarter and a bit of the second quarter. It was almost unwatchable and I can pretty much watch any football. I really wish there weren't an extra week after the conference championship games.

I had no real preference for a winner but I appreciate the consistent excellence of the Pats but this game deserved no winner. It was a bad game.

They're usually bad, but this was especially bad. Thankfully they didn't to play one more song or Adam Levine may have stripped down to his leopard print thong.

No. Nothing at the level of 'Puppy, Monkey, Baby'.

Seems everyone only enjoys watching touchdowns. There were two incredibly good defensive squads on the field and it showed. Must be the lineman in me.

Former husker on each side, so I couldn't lose.

I will agree that the show between the second and third quarter was less than spectacular.

Of what I watched, I liked it. I am uneducated enough to enjoy defensive games or games where they say "We've got six big jamokes that are going to push your six big jamokes out of the way and we're going to give the ball to this other big and fast jamoke and he's going to run through the holes until you tackle him."

It was a lot of fun watching offenses try to find something that works against excellent defense, instead of the usual vice versa.

The halftime show was completely awful. Prince was easily the best ever, with Gaga doing a damn good job herself. Michael Jackson put on a good enough show to make the "halftime show" a thing, so should get some credit for that.

And though I had no idea who he was beforehand, I gotta give Bruno Mars props. That show was really, really fun to watch. He may not convey a lot of substance, but that kid's got style for days.
