    Cool - where was this?

The turtles look like Hawksbill Sea Turtles. I think I have my shell patterns right for identifying them versus Green Sea Turtles.

    Those are some great shots.
I don't know if you want to do this, as it would make a very long page load, but if you replace the "www.dropbox.com" with "dl.dropboxusercontent.com" you can put it inside of [IMG] tags, like so:

I've been to Cozumel for birds and could see pretty clearly that nearly everyone else was there for diving. Cool place.

How best to tell the two turtle species apart? Range and habitat or is it shell pattern and I just got it switched around? I know hawksbill are supposed to be super rare now.

After closer inspection video 1596 is indeed hawksbill, while video 143 is a green turtle. The turtle in 1596 has a sharp beak, while the turtle in 143 has more rounded head. Good catch.

Cool. One of these days I will have to go somewhere I can see these turtles swimming up close. I've seen them in the water basking the surface while salt water fishing, and I've come upon quite a few washed up dead on the beach. Would be nice to see one munching on sea grass like you have in your videos!
