FNL issue

I'll post here in case it's an easy question/answer. I am having troubles attaching my pictures in the FNL forum. Any known issues? I have been able to post there in the past so am not sure what is going on.

Are you trying to attach the images, or use tags along with the image address of pictures that are hosted elsewhere?

I was just trying to attach pictures. I'll try again in the morning. Its too late here now.

N. Still not working Josh. It keeps telling me my pictures are over a limit of about 30kb for each picture. I understand the need for a limit but to get my pictures that low they are crazy small thumbnails. Am I just having a real dumb moment with this?

Do this: Click > settings > attachments Now check your "attachments statistics". Have you maxed out your space?
I allow fairly generous file size / width / height (size = bytes, width/height - pixels)

33.34Mb to store 318 attachements. I would have thought my repository wouldnt be as big as some posters around here. What is the limit on total storage?

Suggest you begin using Flickr or similar to lessen impact to Vsalon server capacity.
Others will chime in with other ready off-site solutions.

Will do. I did have a Flikr account but for some reason Yahoo locked me out and then wouldn't reset my account so I could get back in. Can't even use the correct email because it's associated with the locked account. Gave me the screaming willy's so swore off using Flikr. Might have to forgive and forget and go back to it as it seems the most widely used. Can you link from Instagram?

If you know a trick to find the source URL of the .jpg you can link from Instagram, but they don't make it easy. I think some folks use Imgur (Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet) and like it, so that could be an option if you want to keep your boycott of Flickr.
