College Football (Spoilers)

College football is back and what an opening weekend!! Thought I would start a thread for like-minded Salonistas that enjoy some collegiate pigskin.

Honestly, was a little apprehensive about the start of football. All the injury and concussion discussion has me conflicted about the long-term viability of the sport. That said, once it started, I found myself all in... Favorite moments included Houston flexing against OU, the TX vs ND game which was probably the most exciting, Fl St looking overmatched and then coming alive in the second half, and my alma mater pulling out a game we should have lost against UCLA!! This week also reinforced how much of a joke pre-season rankings are. All in, great start to the FBS season.

ND/UT was ridiculous. So up and down. Really reminded me of UT's national championship win. the emotion, excitement, drama. i didn't start watching until about 10mins left in the 3rd. i quickly lost interest, thinking "figures"...but stuck around. when ND blocked that PAT and ran it back for 2 to tie it, i was about to fall out of my chair. ok...i did in fact fall out of my chair. damn, that was a good game. i couldn't sleep when it finally ended.
