Looking for guinea pig lovers

So, we've never done one of these things before, and we know that the total amount isn't much...but over the last few months we've both had unexpected financial burdens laid upon us. My mother had 2 heart attacks with no insurance that I'm paying for, and Sanita is entering her internship to finish her Masters in School Psych on a 5,000yr stipend while working a part time job as a hostess. I've been driving for lyft after work 4 days a week, I already work 50-60hrs running wires for at&t and now our guinea pig (Abe) had developed a mammary tumor and he needs surgery to remove it. The tumor has already been tested, but the results have come back inconclusive, and it is recommended to remove it now. The cost of surgery is $500, which in any other circumstance we'd be able to pay for, but given the recent events, we're already well behind.

Abe is really Sanita's baby. we both love him, but I'm willing to embarrass myself if it means we can get him the surgery to remove the tumor for both of them.
