Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

Boot that thing up and ride through March.

Re: Shredded my tire...
rollers are where my used up gatorskin winter tires go before they are thrown in the trash.

Re: Shredded my tire...
I had the same failure on a 38 extra-light version of that tire. Happened on a smooth road at speed while fully loaded for a camping trip. I assumed something sharp and unseen caused the failure, but this looks identical.
I was running tubeless with stans sealant, which obviously did nothing. I booted it with a dollar bill and some gorilla tape which lasted another 300 lumpy miles to complete my trip. The replacement tire has a wobble in the layup which I can feel when coasting on smooth surfaces...
Are there any comparable tires that the salon can recommend? I love the comfort of these, but durability and quality are a bit of a concern to me now.

This is not a slag against the Compass tires...they're wonderful but delicate, I'm a bull in a china shop.
I've had good luck with Schwalbe Tubeless, and although not as supple riding, they're a faster tire and quite durable as well in my experience, within 24 hours of this failure I bought 3 of the new G-ONE Schwalbe Tubeless tires in 38mm...Clement and Maxxis are releasing tubeless gravel tires as well, but Schwalbe has available inventory out in the real world.
A few places have them in stock, I ordered from Art's Cyclery and they came out to about $55 each including their current holiday discount. Try Orange Seal as well, much better than Stan's.
