    Default Nortac Contact?

Hey all! I picked up a Nortac jig from a neighbor not to long ago. Unfortunately, it was missing one of the clamping feet. I'd like to buy a replacement. Is Nortac still around? Does anyone know how to get in touch with them?

    No.

They were made by Nova Cycles.

So I Google image searched the Nortac Jig, and those look like a standard model of DeStaco clamp with a small aluminum vee block attached. You can get those from a lot of suppliers, but the easy one is McMaster-Carr. Take a look at this link- McMaster-Carr

You'd just need to make the aluminum vee block.

Interesting, I didn't realize that these were made by Nova. I'll give them a ring and see if they have any old bits kicking around.

Dancingbear: I've actually got the clamp mechanism there. I only need the 'lil v-block.

I could go and make a v-block but I don't think I need any more projects at this point.

IIRC there are at least 3 variations of V blocks on the nortac. you are gonna need to talk with Lon if you want to get anywhere with that.

Oh interesting. I'll give them another call and see what the deal is. The jig has two other feet, I'll measure them up and see what they look like. I figure I can copy the dimensions of the other blocks on the jig.
