    Default Revisiting Cerakote

I just laced a set of cerakoted hoops to a coaster brake for a client and it got me wondering about how braking might be affected and what the wear life might be.

    Anyone have any experience?

    Thanks!

I'd guess it would depend on the specific coating. Some rim mfg's use Cerekote products on their braking surfaces, but some coatings are used as self lubricating surfaces on firearms. Not all of them are created equally.
