    Awwweee crap.

Tom Magliozzi, Popular Co-Host Of NPR's 'Car Talk,' Dies At 77 : NPR

Listened to these guys since I was 6.
On the shittiest of days they could make me smile.

I can't believe how sad this makes me.

That is sad. Me too, listened to them weekday mornings for years.
They both are a encyclopedia on how to get along.
Peace to the good man. He will be missed.

It's a big loss. Luckily, the old shows live on and are still fun to listen to.

When I heard how he died, complications from alzheimer's, I heard in my head, in his voice, the joke he surely would have made.

I'm just glad he was able to leave us with enough laugher to fill Saturday mornings for the foreseeable future.

I completely concur ... The world has lost another genius. On the crappiest of days Tom and Ray could make me smile and laugh. Been listening to CarTalk for 20+ years. It will be hard to fill that whole ...

They are both monuments to modern day radio greatness; a throwback to days of old when it truly was "theater of the mind".

Thanks for the awesome Sat. car rides Tom, even my wife liked you. And she doesn't really like me that much.

My wife couldn't care less about cars really, but she loved that show. Many Saturday mornings we spent trying to guess what was wrong and laughing about the couples therapy calls. Pure genius, RIP.
