Any suggestions on where to buy lugged steel fork?
Most of the forks I'm finding online are carbon, and while I'm finding a couple steel forks out there I'm wondering if there are any good resources that I'm not aware of for more options.
Thanks.

Maybe you do what i did and ride a plastic fork until you develop the experience and confidence needed to build your own steel fork. Otherwise you might pull one from an old frame and build to it. Most folks making steel forks these days only sell them as part of the bicycle/ frameset.
I glanced at your other posts and see that maybe it's time to find a vocational welding school or somesuch. Get some foundation. cheers.

where abouts are you located ?
maybe think about looking at some of the english framebuilding shops, mercian, bob jackson, woodrup, roberts, etc etc as most have a frame repairs price list, new forks are usually on those lists
what kind of fork are you looking for anyhow ?

What sort of options are you looking for? I have options on options.
Just a note that posts over on the Frame Forum section are generally about frame building concerns. If you are shopping for a lugged fork you might have better luck in the classifieds or general forum.

Thanks for all the responses!
I'm building a bamboo frame, part of the appeal of which is that no welding is required. So, I don't plan on making my own steel forks at the time being.
NBC - I'm in Portland, Oregon. I know there are lots of builders here, I'm just not acquainted with them well enough to know who might provide these.
Gordo - Soma looks like a good resource -- thanks for the tip.
Eric - I don't have specific requirements yet, still figuring this out as I go. Though, for my first frame, low cost is probably the first requirement. You have some great looking forks though!
Thanks again for the thoughts!
