    Default football playoffs

i hate that i like football. it is a barbaric sport along the lines of the gladiators of old.
    so many brutal injuries.

    that said...
i thk the patriots will lose this weekend to the horseshoes.
brady is the best but he has nobody to catch the ball... kraft out thought himself on this one.
apparently it is necessary to have guys who can catch in addition to a guy who can throw.

watch and see... any denver fans here?
peytons 5th receiver is better than bradys #1..
thats how badly the patriots managed the team this year...but he will still not win cause he has chicken legs.

We'll see. I picked the Patriots to make it through, because they are the one team with a quarterback who can make something out of nothing. Which is good because as you said, they sort of have nothing right now. However, I think it is highly likely that NE/IN will be won on scoring by defense. The rest is DEN SF and NO.

Kaepernick? Brady does it with his head and arm, Kaep does it with his legs. Anyway that's next week.

I think if the Pats just keep running the ball they beat the Colts.
Next week, it would be a stretch to beat Denver in Denver.

Carolina vs SF should be a rock fight.
I'm picking Seattle to win it all.

This has been disastrous year for the Pats personnel wise, but the are 12-4 which is a miracle. The Hoodie deserves coach of the year.

Hopefully they can find a way to revamp the receiving core for next year.
Gronkowski is done, so another good receiving tight end would be good, but a fast outside receiver has to be the priority

NO wins in Seattle? Bold prediction!

I've got NE DEN SF SEA. Wouldn't be surprised if Carolina wins though.

if ne gets past the horseshoes they will beat manning and his 15 top receivers.

brady will sign some high school kid in the 2nd row and throw him 2 tds and manning will throw 3 interceptions.

Well NO SEA isn't isn't going to be the blow out it was during the season. Tough game I think. Secondary against secondary.

The bets I ended up with are :
    Seahawks win by 12 points
49 'rs lose by less than 7
    Patriots win by 12
Chargers lose by less than 12
(How do you document that ?)
You think I did good ?

Seahawks by 8, but really they knocked the Saints around in the first half. Brees got some traction and timing back in the second, but those field goal misses stung hard. A lot of effort in each for nothing.

Pats by 21. No one wins with nothing like the Pats.

Glad to see Ridley have a good game. Really hope we end up playing the Chargers. Manning can soil his postseason sheets today, please.

Apparently they discovered that repeatedly hitting something with a blunt instrument works now and then.

You're kidding me. Niner game is 2 seconds old and two guys have had either life- or career-threatening injuries. Eff this game.

Feels like the Panthers are just waiting to take Kaep's head off.

Someone handed out the baggie full of greenies before the game and told everyone to take a handful.
