    Default Richie-Issimo Revisions atmo -

It took me more than 10 years to get to this, but I've finally retooled the lower Richie-Issimo
head lug so that the skirt wrapping around the tube completely mirrors the top head lug atmo.
These images show the new version alongside an original part. Hey - thanks for waiting.

PS All images shot with my brand new Sony DSC-RX100 MII camera.

    Lots more indeed.
But, when you are doing what you do, you want to do it right.
    This is a slight improvement.
An improvement is a good thing.
    I like it.
I look at the frames I built in the 70s and 80s and I think I could do things better now.
I still ride the first frame built ( a long time ago) to work.
It is a funny looking frame, at least to me.

But, when I build a new frame, I want it to be great, every time.
I want it to ride great.
I also want to feel that i did the best I can do.
That's why the lug redo is cool.
    Awesome Richie!!!

New lower headtube lug cleavage looks nice - like you've given it implants but they look good, you can't tell.
