    When you have a bunch of purple golf shirts left over from the '80's, should you:

    a) wear them on TV
    2) give them to Goodwill

    I'm OK with a bit of character and purple shirts as long as I never, ever ever have to listen to or watch another human interest, rags to riches sob story about the rider who is a former brick layer (Sean Kelly) or was sold for a wheel of cheese (Bernard Hinault - if this improbable to impossible story is true, which I highly doubt, I'm surprised he didn't beat somebody up. Or maybe he did.) or swept Dublin floors to buy his first bicycle (Stephen Roche).
