Colleague shared this pic of his local barista. She's a proud Richard Sachs CX owner.
Somebody once told me that you know a brand is great when folks are willing to tattoo it on themselves...

Where's Mr. President these days?....
A rider named Bob Simpson had a Rock Lobster tattoo in the mid 90's.
He told Paul about it after he got it.
Paul was like "I guess?"- but then he apparently agreed to keep him on a lobster for life.
-- this ole geek has no 2's, tammy might consider & smile if i had a tat --- "imperfection is still imperfection.."

Awesome. She actually has two Sachs CX. And a Zank. Her sister has a sweet Zank, too. Dad has a few nice bikes as well. :)
(That's WayneJ's daughter)
A new interpretation of the old saying, riding for the brand?
The ink is not the bike.
I know Vecchio has a very cool Campy tat...my first road bike was a nishiki and I loved the thing for abit...pretty glad I never got a nishiki tat...
The tattoo is fine line between cool and douchery or worst yet full blown douchebaggery. For example, Mdot on Mark Allen or Dave Scott equals cool, Mdot on every mid-life crisis ironman = douchebaggery.
I know this chick. No, not biblically.

Lost Control
Hit a wall
But we're alright
I have a Rhygin sun on my left arm. Truth be told, I had it done to cover up another tattoo I had done back in 1994.

I am pro - tats ( both sister and their husbys are done up - one is covered ) but I just never had the guts to do it. I had grand plans in 1989 as a teenager to get 'Search and Destroy' tattooed on my back like Henry, but thank god I never mustered the courage.
I do think Sachs bikes are very nice but I would never get a tat of a bike on my arm! I use Campy but that would be a no-go as well. Brands come and go (yes, I would say even Sachs) so I would not stencil anything related to a 'thing' on my arms.
Truth be told I would only get two tattoos on my body: my daughter's name and my son's name. My wife wouldn't even make the cut, and I adore her.
