    try:

    www.marchettispa.it

many of the offerings are production oriented but they do offer a few basic fixtures.

let us know what else you find.

tools wise VAR and Cyclus are european brands.

VAR outillage vélo - Bike tool
    .: RA-CO GmbH • IHR RADSPORT GROSSHANDEL • Cyclus Tools :.

    Good luck!

Mel Pinto carries the whole line, and Wayne is easy to work with.

Var tools great, as Cyclus or Cobra.

    Yea Rosko, I forgot Marchetti!

Marchetti Jig it´s a little better than the cheap one of bikemachinery.com (the one i have) but it also has the problem of not having the possibility of direct measures of distances and angles (and dont think it will go lower than 8000 €. Bike Machinery Hydra around 12000€!!!). For distances theres a tool, but nothing to angles. Im also afraid those cant work good with over size or other not standard tube. It´s hell to recalibrate this monsters for the center line!. They were obviously made for, as Rosko said, production oriented...

Ill be at Eurobike fair and try to go to Padova also to see if i find something. If i dont i think Anvil or Sputnik will be the choice.

Ill tell if i find something.

    Thanks to all,

    Andrés

Keep us posted! I didn't find much a few years ago when shopping, at least not that I felt competed with Don or Jeff's work. Let us know if you find anything- its neat to know what is out there.

I have a Bike Machinery Hydra that I purchased in 1982 or so. Still as great as it was when virgin. The only concession needed going forward (for me) is a set of head tube nests that work for 36mm rather than the 31.8mm size I am used to. The rest of it remains completely versatile and contemporary. I am surprised at the current price, though I shouldn't be. These are lifetime investments. I recall paying $2500 or so. Sick, huh.

After Eurobike, the thing keeps the same. No frame/fork jigs or mittering tools on european market. I was talking about the matter with another "young" fb and he havent found anything either and have in mind to start producing these kind of tools himself.
Bike Machinery was there with the prices i already know.
Don or Jeff i think are my solution, i will have to cope with the 25% increase in taxes for my dear country.
Lifetime investments, i keep that in mind, dont want to suffer some things anymore.

    best to all,

    Andrés

I did a load of drawings and made some jigs for folks that were floating round

I actually sold the design to some guy in the biz who said you can either sell me the design or I will copy it anyway and start making em I have never seen one out in the wild however maybe.

When I was touting them however the problem was that folk wanted to pay nothing and redesign it to suit their needs a recumbent to a box is a tall order . Which differed in every requirement I'm sure if you want custom tooling you pay a toolmaker to design exactly what you need or alter the best you can find to suit
