i don't know whats better, the tales or the footage, but these are priceless and beautiful. the shapes shipsterns takes is just mond boggling. (the ads are annoying but worth it)

that wave was terrifying. big wave surfing in general terrifies me. i've barely tried surfing, and it was in the tiniest of waves you can imagine, and even with those, you can feel the power of the ocean behind them. extrapolate up to these big waves, and i'm truly gobsmacked.

It always makes me think how many great surfers there are out there (or at least with brass balls) that no one´s ever heard of.
