No kids to pilfer from, but the combo of one large black dog, a smaller brown loaner pup and a house that's garage has up until recently been a den of iniquity left my wife and I with two full bags of candy and only one set of totally freaked out trick-or-treaters.

Rice Krispy Treats! 10 years later it is still the subject around the house that Dad took Kelly's ONLY Rice Krispy Treat on Halloween. I have repaid that debt more than tenfold over the years and it is still revisited as a source of humiliation for this poor guy living with three girls. Want to start a beat-down? Just mention the Rice Kripy Treat. Way more effective than the old "I had the children", which, as our youngest reaches 18, has a diminishing affect upon my psyche. Oh, that and Whoppers.
