Real 29er tubeset options?

As I find myself building more and more ridged SS 29ers I find that the 1mm butted True Temper tubes and the new 853 from Reynolds are looking better and better. 2 Questions: One, is anyone using this stuff successfully without gussets in such applications? Two, who can tell Reynolds to pull their heads out of their a$$ and start making a tube that is apparently as awesome as their 853 BX3030 but in a real length so that a builder might actually be able to build something other than a road bike or 26 mtb with it? That doesn't appear on the Reynolds website. Are there any other new tubes also not there that you know of?

a. Can you make this.....?
if so
b. Minimum order qty and price?

When I had asked Reynolds about special down tubes for 29ers before - they were open to it. I don't recall the minimum they wanted. They did say they have a limitation of 37mm OD for the tube, where Columbus and True Temper offer 38mm, which I prefer. Seems that if you order enough you can get any of them to make it, perhaps it will become a matter of who has the lowest minimum and what alloy and size you are after. I assume you've also looked at the 35 and 38mm down tubes from Nova, as well as the offerings from Fairing.

It IS already available, as well as a 38.1 mm version. Here's a quote from Keith @ Reynolds:

Our standard length is 680mm, but as many 29er frames need a longer tube we can make the tube at 720mm (extra length on the NON DZB end). Both for 34.9mm and 38.1mm OD versions in 853, same butt profile.

Having passed the 200++ "29er's" point loooong ago I can assure that there are plenty of options fron True Temper that work very well. Six-Eight had the 1.5" x 9/6/9 and EP has the 1 3/8" 9/6/7
