I spoke with Charlie about two weeks ago when we ordered about 100' of tubing. He told me that his wife has been trying to get him to retire for years and he is finally doing it. Of course we will be able to get 4130 tubing elsewhere, but it will be harder to source from multiple suppliers. Charlie had it all in one place. As his inventory runs out, he is simply not replacing it. He is looking for tubing dealers to buy large lots and he has had some offers for the whole lot, but at prices too low for him to consider. Kind of sad, but times change and life goes on. God speed Charlie.

I heard this last week too. We had been trying to buy rack tubing, and heard there isn't any more 028.
Aircraft Spruce looks like Gucci in comparison. Where are the rest of you guys looking?

I think Wick's is taking over much of it. I already put in an order in with True Temper for some common tubing I use. - Garro.

Pricing is going to be an issue. We just got 40' of 1.125*.035 at 2.36 per foot from Charlie. Wicks is quoting 4.00 per foot. Ugh!
