Default Front derailleur direct mount placement

I'm setting my cross bike with a direct mount front derailleur, and am soliciting advice about placement of the mount.

That's the mount, I don't have it or the derailleur in hand yet, but it's all on it's way. Google yielded no info on the position of the mount, so if anyone can chime in with some wisdom before I just bolt everything together and mark it with a sharpie, that would be awesome.

email mark directly at paragon. He has the knowledge. Also. be aware, if you're using SRAM road gear, the FDs have two sets of mounting holes to allow for... low bracket height I believe; By a full CM or more. -Chris

Eric's talking about the DM XT derailleur.

it's in the Shimano book too. If you don't have one, call Chad and get it. (That's where Pete got it).

Here's the tool I made to hold it. With different pilots, it works with standard and PF30 shells.
