that's because they took that footage of me just driving home after the ride. that footage isn't Zack driving!

a modified exhaust that retains it's catalytic converter(s) really isn't going to make much more if any power. it's just going to be louder which is also an issue.

Completely insane is the description that comes to mind after 4 hours of "spirited" driving Saturday on the back roads in the hills.

That’s my Dad’s car. Except his was blue. Bought it in 1970. My sister and I rode in the back seat for more hours than I like to remember. The destinations were great, but the multi-hour drives from Virginia to Nova Scotia or Wisconsin or south Florida were murder. The engine worked really well until it didn’t and then it overheated every time we went to the mountains. My dad sold it to a colleague who figured out it was a hairline crack in the manifold. Obviously a lot of memories.

Oops - my Dad said it was a hairline crack in the cylinder head. Crack in the manifold was the clue.

    That's a good childhood friend's mom's car! Hers was that metallic blue-green.

And she was a very poor driver. One evening she drove us kids home from Hebrew school and was so off-and-on the gas pedal that I got car sick. All over the vinyl upholstery in the back seat. She was so worried about me that I couldn't bear to tell her why I'd thrown up. So she got me home and told my concerned, mortified parents I was coming down with something. Only after she left could I tell them the truth - I was fine, her driving was the only problem. They'd driven with her and understood...

It's still a story my buddy will bring up sometimes. God she was a terrible driver.
    GO!

This was supposed to be picked up last week and it keeps getting bumped back. I'm not sad about that

For a car that runs VIR Grand under 3 minutes the ride is amazing. I don't love the engine, but 464 HP is 464 HP - and of course it has all three pedals. This platform rocks under the current gen Camaro and these Caddies.

What I wouldn't give to have a few hrs. with that on the track. Not exactly what people would expect but man what a blast.

With your blessing I'd add a servo side-pipe cutout just to scare the locals.

I dunno. People who know, know. It could use a little more ear sauce I suppose - but I'd rather sound less fast than I am than the other way 'round.

Some dude in a AMG GLA45 tried REALLY hard to race me the other night when I was out running some errands. It was dark and he picked me right out.
