Derailleur Tab Height

Perhaps this is a rather dumb question, but does that hole you drill into the tube correspond to the center (vertically) of the tab? In other words, is the center of the tab 121-122mm above the BB? Never have brazed a tab on before and just want to be sure. Thanks!

I'm not at work so can't measure things now, but am pretty sure the nub on the rear of the part isn't dead center within its height. But placing it at the measurement noted above will enable the center of the vertical slot to come at 148mm. This gives you some wiggle room for larger/smaller outer rings. For compact rings, I just lower the hole in the seat tube.

I have measured the little peg at 7mm below the center line of the slot.
