Cap'n Crunch does this with one bowl. Like a bunch of tiny sugary sweet half round bastard files.

oh god. inadequately soaked cocoa puffs will do the same, if not worse
edit: pretty much the same as cap'n crunch as said above. do yourself a favor though, MIX cap'n crunch and froot loops.
    amazeballs.

I was a sleepwalker until my early teens. My mom yelled at me one morning for leaving the milk out all night. I replied that I was not the one resonsible. She pulled an empty Cap'n Crunch box (just purchased the day before) from the trash as evidence. I then realized why my mouth was really sore and admitted it must have been me.

3/4 cup of instant oats, sliced banana, cold oat milk. Mix in bowl and eat. Takes 2 minutes. drink some water too because uncooked oats expand.

Late night munchy fantasy- a box of Life and a quart of whole milk.

My wife's muesli and Old Chatham Sheep's Milk Yogurt plus a banana and maybe a little chocolate. My wife's muesli is totally simple and very healthy. Very substantial but easy on the stomach. Mixing in the yogurt instead of milk makes it tons better, and I've found that if you have any sort of lactose issue, the sheep's milk yogurt is a great substitute.

    Here is her recipe:

    3 cups oats

1 1/2 cup nuts (any mix of unsalted sunflower seeds and sliced almonds
or any other nuts, including peanuts walnuts pecans etc.)

    cinnamon (lots)

1/4 cup (and a little more) maple syrup (or honey is ok)

dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, apricots cut into bite size pieces, etc) and/or pumpkin seeds

2-3 tablespoons of ground flax seed (whole flax seed cannot be digested - must be ground; optional ingredient)

Spread out the oats and nuts on a cookie sheet (but not the fruit pumpkin seeds and flaxseed!) and sprinkle a very generous coating of cinnamon.

Then, pour on the maple syrup and stir around with a fork.

Bake in the oven at 325, for a total of 28 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

After mixture bakes for 20 minutes, add the fruit, pumpkin seeds and flaxseed so those ingredients bake for only 8 minutes max to prevent burning.

    Easier than pie!

When I was in college and used to ride 65 miles around Boston I would eat 3 packs of Quaker instant oatmeal and maybe 3 bananas. That would usually get me there and back again.

    Thread resurrection.

I've been hitting these this week. Breakfast has been two biscuits and a book or two of Wordsworth's Prelude.

While oven is preheating to 375,

    Combine in a large bowl:
    1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup unbleached white flour (or 1/2 cup unbleached white flour and 1/2 cup oat bran)
    pinch sea salt
    2 tbsp baking powder
    2 tsp mixed herbs

    stir that shit up

cut in with a pastry blender:
    3 tbsp butter

that's right, butter, bitches. and a lot of it.

    add:
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    stir that shit up again

use the spoon to shape a well in the dry ingredients
    drop in:

    2 eggs
1/2-2/3 cup whole milk (gotta eyeball it, depending on the flour)

blend the eggs and milk in the well, then combine all the ingredients in a few swift strokes.

dust with flour -- don't knead the dough (it will reduce the rise and make the biscuits too chewy and dry). on a lightly floured board, quickly but gently form the dough into a rectangle 1/2 inch thick. cut into four equal pieces.

put the pieces on the baking stone that's been in the preheating oven. bake that shit for 25-30min.

These are some big motherfuckers. They end up being ~400 calories per biscuit, 50% Carbohydrate, 25% Fat, 25% Protein. With the whole grain flour, the fat, and the protein, they stay with you.

    Doof approved.

Somewhere in between a tamago kake gohan and Allen Lim's rice cakes:

    1/3 cup of sushi rice

Rinse and then put in a pot with 2/3 cup of water and a splash of rice wine vinegar.

Bring to a boil, reduce to low heat, set timer for 10 minute.

At 10 minutes, crack 2 eggs on top of the rice and season with soy sauce, set the timer for 10 more minutes.

After 20 minutes, ideally the yolks have set but aren't cooked through (we're looking for the consistency of a soft boiled yolk more than medium or hard boiled).

Add a little brown sugar or maple syrup and stir everything together. Garnish with furikake (or sesame seeds).

I need some protein with breakfast to feel full and have some sustained energy: While a bagel is toasting I slice some salami and cheese and use the left over water boiled for an Aeropress to add to a 'cafe style' porridge. Yeah I could make my own porridge but this stuff tastes fantastic and is super easy. If I'm feeling fancy I'll chop some extra dates and dried apricots and add to the porridge. Protein + carbs + caffeine = me go fast.

PS: For me an Aeropress and a small grinder is the best way to get a fantastic easy to make coffee. These things are amazing and cleanup is zero.
