Played indoor soccer last night. My face/nose took a rocket shot from about 15ft out. Headache settled in after playing and is persisting - and my nose hurts.

The car buying process. Ughhhh.

Waking up at 5:00 AM Tues and Weds for web app deployments. Tues, they didn't stage everything correctly and didn't bother to tell me. So I sat on my laptop in the dark waiting for an email that never came.

Wife, kids, and I had plans on going to the NASA center this weekend, leaving tomorrow. Among other crap surrounding this weekend, we started doing laundry last night and the switch on the washer broke on the first load. At that point, that was pretty much all I could handle for yesterday and unfortunately when I woke up this morning, nothing was magically fixed. So, it's Thursday and we're still trying to find a sitter for Tank, wife's sister is going to call us and tell her she's cancelling (we fronted her the money for the hotel...non-refundable because she's short on $$), and the washing machine is still non-functional.

Boston area roads suck - Did not think it was possible to have roads worse than NJ but Boston area wins.

Boston needs to hire an effin city planner. Does every road really need to be one way with none of them connecting so you cannot go more than one street without circling around 16 times?

My wife has four more days of staying with her parents until she is well enough to come home. I'm 1.5 hours away and go up 1-2 nights a week and on weekends.

Four more days of her narcissistic asshole father. She's dealing with it better than I would/am.

He gave himself cancer from smoking. Still does, by the way. Surgery was required. So, enter narcissism - everything comes back to him. He didn't take pain medication, because he's too tough for that. He also read some fucking bullshit in Time last week about opiates, so now he's the worlds leading authority on what she should be doing to manage pain. He constantly trying to make her feel guilty for doing exactly what she is supposed to be doing. As directed by her neurosurgeon, who, by the way, IS the world's leading authority on treating people with her condition.

If she has to go through another surgery like this in the future, other recovery arrangements are going to be made.

The new "important" is not having a cell phone and being "unplugged" so that a-hole is just an out of touch and behind the times douche.

The best part, is that our CEO uses the same sh*tter and I've never, NOT ONCE, seen him on his phone and he is infinitely more busy/time constrained
