Awesome racing in the Men's mass start biathlon and the Nordic Combined Large hill. It looks like the snow/sleet/rain today works for the Norwegian skis.

I am quite sure I am the only one here watching it, but the Women's final in curling has been a dramatic game.

I do not miss the ridiculous figure skating etc. since I cut the cord, and I'm willing to wait for internet replays for biathlon etc, but it's killing me just a bit to miss curling. That silly sport kept me up late many nights during the Vancouver games.

One of Karen's friends curls and is big into Facebook. We'll be sitting there and I'm completely mystified about halfway through one of the ends and Karen's friend predicts the outcome, like every time. The best part is she apparently know way more than the announcers because she says how it'll happen too.

I predict the 2018 games will have GoPro-sponsored stone cams.

Only way that works is if they're super slo-mo capable.

Watching the gold medal women's hockey game... US is looking good. So far they're outplaying the Canadians and look like they want it more.

I loved the US coach protesting a too many penalty call! the video replay showed 7 on the ice, not counting the goalie.

That Carpenter-Knight (not sure who else) line for the US gives Canada fits.

That puck dinging off the post of an empty net was something else.

Completely agree with Roenick - USA went to defensive hockey too soon. Should have attacked more and kept the puck in the Canadian end. Easier to keep it out of your net if the puck is at the other end. Oh well. We'll see what happens next.

Congratulations to Canada, Poulin, and that pipe.

What a great way to win. What a painful way to lose.

I had to leave the house about halfway through the third to get to the airport. It was 2-0 and I figured it was over. About half way to the airport my daughter phones me and says going into OT.

I made it the rest of the way, parked and through security faster than I have ever moved. I could hardly find a TV. Everyone in the airport, including the security people are watching the game.

Only two things can bring even an airport in Canada to a complete halt, hockey and curling.

    Was great to see.

Well the refs always suck in the Olympics. You just hope they suck equally, which I think they did. I am kind of glad US didn't win on the empty net shot as it was set up by the ref getting in the way of play, but it was a heart crushing loss for the USA team.

I’ve seen the USA women’s team play before they shipped out, lot’s of talent.

OT was so painful to watch, but Canada had the momentum. Calls blown on both sides, can’t really blame this one on the refs.

The Team that wanted it more won. I hate to admit it, but USA was polishing the gold before the game was over. They should have known better…

The Swiss upsetting the Sweden in the 3rd was great to watch, too bad it foreshadowed the USA game.

If anyone still needs a bit of a refresher on curling rules after the last two weeks, this BBC commentary explains it very well.
