Not offended at all. The game is inherently dangerous and leaves some injured, they all chose to be there. Definitely entertained.

I agree with tamaso on trash talking, it's an art, it's a beautiful thing when done well. Sherman is developing his brand, he's chosen the bad guy image and is working hard at it. He is not some poor misunderstood kid. I don't mind trash talking, Sapp is one of my favorites, he talked shit all the time.

His recent comment about Manning's "ducks" is another example, he keeps talking trash to keep the spotlight on, all press is good press.

Sherman acts like no other pro ever went to college. Stanford Communications major right?, Most big football schools cut players so much slack on actual schoolwork, it’s a crime.

I had a friend who was a professor at a big school down south, the coach decided what grades the players got, and the Dean of her school ordered her to go along with it, as football brings in big $.

    So big fn deal.

He IS a very talented player, he is a self made promo machine, which is smart (any press is good press way), I give him that respect. But enough about Stanford.

Without the Pats in the game, I could care less who wins, but I’d rather see Manning shut Sherman’s mouth by winning.

I’ll go for a quick spin during halftime, as I hate all that crap halftime’s become.

In terms of the work required by football players to earn a degree from their university, I believe there is a significant difference between Stanford and "a big school down south".

The big school down south is a Div 1 football powerhouse. Not Mayberry community college. My friend left after one year of teaching.

I also know a few big universities in Boston, where big athletes are all house together, have special class schedules to accommodate their practice (not the other way around), have dedicated student tutors to ensure they pass, and are also graded on “sports curves” to make sure they do not blow their athletic scholarships.

Parents and coaches have relayed the above to me. No, you won’t find this on their websites, only when a student is recruited or “in” the system.

I’d be shocked if Stanford did anything differently.

Half-time shows make me puke, but Red-Hot Chili Peppers just gave that kid a lesson on how to rock it.

Manning looks razzled at best, and Anthony Kiedis looks good for a 96 year old punk rocker.

Who understands gambling? So Seahawks win and win by 40 points, who (besides the Broncos) is the big loser?

    The networks.

I like the Doritos commercial with the kid riding the mastiff like it was a horse. Wait, it was a horse.
    Good cyclists are:
Visible, Predictable, Alert, Assertive and Courteous

They also use the five layers of protection available.
    Layer 1: Control your bike
Layer 2: Know and follow the rules of the road
Layer 3: Ride in the smartest lane position
    Layer 4: Manage hazards skillfully
    Layer 5: Utilize passive protection.
