bought this from a local kid (obviously a Tigers fan) for $85
$18 worth of sheet metal and it's good to go.
Slammed hard a few times last night - pads are good. Elbow pads totally saved my bacon.

Still have my ‘87 G&S Neil Blender, split stain “driving” graphic with Eric Nash at the wheel, white sixtracks w/ ultralight BP’s and Santa Cruz Bullet 66’s for wheels.
Bikes rule!

I had the “ original” of that board and graphic, Sims Jeff Phillips (RIP), same color, red Gullwings, not sure of the wheels on that one though.....maybe rat bones? Skated a lot of ramps with that one in the Tucson area.

Those 90A re-issue rat bones grip the hell out of my currently masonite shod quarter pipe.

Fun thread to stumble upon! My first real deck was a Santa Cruz Slasher with Independent Trucks and OJ11 wheels! I’ve had so many since then and still keep one just for the occasional fun it provides. These days, any SFDLX brand board, Indy trucks, and Spitfire classic wheels.
I recently got my 7 and 4 year olds skateboards. I don’t know how my parents ever let me skate like they did! And my kids are padded up with their bike helmets on too! Skating provided a lot of fun memories for me but it is a brutal sport on the body!
