Off season workouts to get ready for crit season
What are your workouts and exactly what types of workouts in the gym do you do during the winter to get ready for crit season and even road season?
I am back to carrying around 20lbs extra from a recent head injury and time with no exercise. I am 180lbs 5'9" right now and want to get back to 160lbs.
I still have a big upper body from the many years of DH. I want to burn that extra fat and get rid of that muscle whist working more on my lower body and core.

deadlifts, boxjumps, puke, drink water, repeat?

no matter what else is in your regimen, be sure to add high intensity intervals, about 2x per week. lots of info on google about this

google "plyometrics" and it should bring about a lot of good exercises.
