Yah, it’s been a while since I’ve been here. At Covid, I spent so much work time on screen that I couldn’t do recreation on screen as well.

Happy to be back though.

I have a kid in the Royal Canadian Navy and here in the THE NORTH, we are in the middle of a federal election. Said kid is deployed on HMCS Margaret Brooke and it makes me happy to no end that her and the ~100 sailors on Margaret Brooke got the opportunity to exercise their voting rights. I’m sure it cost a pretty penny to deliver and process ballots from the Pacific, but does that really matter?

Ballots are transported on regular supply mission flights, same with normal mail and packages, so thankfully it doesn't cost extra!
Good to see Canada still cares about its military voters overseas, it is going to change here in the states.
I miss Canada!
