    Default Vermont Flooding Disaster Recovery

Apologies if a thread has been started elsewhere. But damn if VT isn't one of the best places on the planet to ride, and what has happened (again, Hurricane Irene was horrific enough) boggles the mind. Passing along some links and ways to help.

Donate to, aid and abet, or participate in the relief effort:

Statewide: The VT Flood Response & Recovery Fund, set up by the Vermont Community Foundation, and the Disaster Relief Fund, established by the Green Mountain United Way, are both excellent options.

Trails: The Vermont Mountain Bike Association has a Major Storm Relief Fund to help their chapters bring trails back online following a catastrophic weather event.

Local: Check out this list of resources and opportunities for local fundraising efforts and resources if you or someone you know is affected:

    Waterbury Community Flood Response Resources
Richmond Community Flood Response Clean up Crew
    Vermont Mutual Aid
    Crowd-sourced Resource List

Thanks brother Todd. This is a worthy place to throw a wee bit of legal tender.

Vermont Overland is selling a poster, all proceeds are going to highway, fire, and emergency services departments in each town their events take place in.
