    Default Santana/Paragon Z couplers - thoughts?

Has anyone built with or used the stainless versions on a single - and your thoughts? I have a customer asking.

    Apologies if covered elsewhere...

I saw them at NAHBS a number of years ago. They look cleaner than the S&S coupler in terms of aesthetics but I don’t know much beyond that. I believe they can be assembled/disassembled with a 5mm allen wrench but I am not sure.

Not a builder here obviously but I thought the look was really keen when I saw them in person at the bike show.

Zero experience therefore zero relevant opinion on function or buildability. Aesthetically they looked really clean IIRC.

Probably hasn’t worked with the stainless version—and their couplers may actually be different from the Paragon version—but Scott Hock at No. 22 has a lot of experience working with Z-couplers. If you don’t have his cell # and want it, pm me.
