Default Pinion gearbox - bolt pattern dimensions for mounting?

I am thinking of building a gearbox frame. Does anyone know the mounting bolt pattern / dimensions? My understanding is that Pinion only give this information to official frame building companies.
While we are on the subject, does anyone have any experience or tips they can share building with this system?

    Thanks,

    Greg.

If you’re building a steel frame, is there a reason you don’t want to buy one of the pinion mounts from a supplier like Framebuilder Supply?

I would reach out directly to Pinion despite what you have heard.

I may build a steel prototype but the ultimately I would want to build a Ti frame. What I was thinking was to have a mount that can be used to tension the belt or chain in the manner of the Tout Terrain frames. Although such a mount adds complication it does streamline the rear dropout situation avoiding the use of sliders etc.

You are right though, it can't hurt to contact Pinion directly. I will do that.

How about this titanium one from Paragon Machine Works?

Sliders may not be preferred but I’ve found the PMW ones to be excellent.

My neighbour Shane at Tor bikes has recently built a Pinion equipped hardtail (scroll down the link for the Abrade Synchro hardtail build).

Shane is a good engineer but I am assuming he got the layout from Pinion so it must be doable.
