Default Arbor Day finish for my arbor project

Well, I finished my wife’s rose arbor just in time for Arbor Day…how fitting. Sanded the rough stuff, lightly rounded the sharp edges and coated with a clear, water repellent finish. Now I have to plant the climbing roses this weekend, then onward and upward to another project.

    Excellent work.

Scale that up a bit and you have a timber frame barn. You can practice here in Hillsdale.

Hey Jorn. Speaking of Hillsdale. Any chance we might get an update on your garden? And that spectacular meadow on your roof? I'm sure there are lots of us out here who miss seeing the project's progress! I would love to know how the wildflowers on the roof have progressed (or not as the case may be!).

Yes! Spring planting has begun so I’ll shoot some pics when that’s completed and post to the voluminous thread on the house.
