Default Ukraine fundraising - random idea

My mother is an artist (locally known in NJ), painted these sunflowers and posted on her (albeit limited) social media networks at auction. Proceeds to pro-Ukraine charities. Anyway, I won; writing this check to Jose Andres charity among other donations lately.

I love the painting and thrilled to keep it, but half wondering whether there’s any opportunity to keep auctioning it onward with all proceeds going to the cause until someone stops the train and holds onto the painting. The multiplier effect.

Is this an overly proud son talking, or do you think someone else would pay more than $500 to either take possession or take control of auctioning onwards?

That is a creative and novel idea. Yes, that has legs. Maybe twitter to reach a large audience.

Awesome. Your Mom's painting is beautiful.

I donated to World Central Kitchen too, here's a link in case others would like it:

A local brewery is drumming up support for Ukraine brewers.

They’re working with 2085brewery in Ukraine to see how we they can help.

2085brewery are trying to update their website to take PayPal or Venmo, you can go to their web site and try to purchase their beer, but note that you will have to know Ukrainian to navigate the website and even if your purchase is successful you will likely never taste their amazing beer. https://2085beer.com/shop

Also, Drunken Rabbit Brewing is joining 42 North Brewing to brew their own version of Resolve Keller bier, an open-source collaboration beer to recognize the determination of the Ukrainian people and to aid the humanitarian effort. Proceeds will be going to a not-for-profit aid org, https://www.globalempowermentmission...kraine-crisis/

I’m gonna take a pull for this effort. Please consider taking a pull yourself.

    Cheers!

Might give this a shot via Instagram. I'm not on the Tweeter.

Nice! They have a solid rating from Charity Navigator, so it's always a go-to for me as I also assess alternate charities for each "event" etc.
