The Fifth Circuit has taken less than a day to deny the appeal of the matter above, stating that the plaintiffs didn't have standing in the lower court and thus they don't have standing in the appeals court either. This will similarly apply to SCOTUS but that probably won't stop the idiots from trying.

I worked for a little bully with a Napoleon complex in an accident reconstruction for my first two years out of uni. When my analyses supported our client the praise was extreme...I was the best engineer in the world! When not, he'd first try to convince me to change my opinion; if I didn't he'd "be disappointed", and if in the end I didn't change my position he'd shout and berate me; this was SOP for the three of us young engineers who worked the cases up. It was an excellent experience and I'm happy to report that I never caved. There were a number of instances in which I changed my opinion because I realized he was correct, or his interpretation of the evidence made more sense, but I never, ever capitulated out of fear; and he got extremely ugly, berating me on a crowded lunchtime sidewalk downtown after marching me back from a client whom I had previously told didn't have a case, in one instance; he marched me down there to "show me how it was done". That's what hear Trump doing in the recording. What a punk.

Man, what I'd give to have Trump try to intimidate me in a meeting or on a conf call. Screw him and screw his "patriotic" enablers. What a lying bag of fetid puss.

I am so proud of Brad Raffensperger. What a rock, though I can't imagine why he wishes Trump had won.

According to the Constitution and the 20th Amendment, Section 1:

"The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin."

The history of why the 20th amendment came to be is really interesting. You can read up on that here.

Trump will not be president at noon on the 20th. His Presidency ends at 11:59:59. There is no way around that. And if he won't leave, they'll escort his fat ass out swiftly.
