This is exactly why we only ever have two feasible choices that keep moving to the right every four years.

I'm watching Biden / Harris as we speak. Lesser of 2 evils may be a matter of perspective.

From the perspective of Vladimir Putin?
In what reality would Biden/Harris be more ‘evil’ than Trump/Pence?

This x 1,000,0000,000. Trump is the personification of evil (definition: profoundly immoral and malevolent). The notion that Biden / Harris v. Trump / Pence is a "matter of perspective" and a choice between "the lesser of two evils" is absurd on its face. At least @Corso will be voting Biden / Harris notwithstanding the bad taste it will leave in its mouth. We need more @Corsos this election cycle.

I wouldn't call Biden and Harris evil by any definition.

No kidding. Top marginal tax rate of 91% back then. As opposed to *resident announcing to his stooges at MAGAt-Swampo/Trump-Epstein Massage Parlor South after the tax cuts: "I just made you a lot of money."

I didn't know about this about Pence.
It is worse than I thought.

I was amused by this line from the New Yorker,
"Trump may be blatantly irreligious and Pence exotically devout, but our President and Vice-President come together quite well in their stated inability to resist women."

I take it back Eric. Sorry.
No hard feelings. I would only support Trump if he needed my help to climb into a wood chipper.

That's overstating the facts at best.
"Marijuana sales cases were routinely reduced to misdemeanors. And marijuana possession cases were not even on the court’s docket. They were simply not charged. Unless there was a large grow case, or a unique circumstance, this was the reform-minded approach then-DA Harris’ office took."

I was reading the Kanye stuff, and got to thinking he and Trump have basically the same qualifications for office. Neither has contributed to the social good in any way...then I remembered College Dropout. That was a good album.

    Biden>Kanye>Trump

    If it were ranked choice.

For sure. and even if it doesn't change the make up of Congress that much in absolute terms of which party has how many seats, competitive districts will improve the quality of candidate that's selected. In a heavily gerrymandered district the primary becomes the general election and has a very high likelihood of becoming a purity test or worse. Just look at what happened in Georgia this week. A person that believes in the Qanon conspiracy just won the GOP primary and is heavily favored in the general election given the makeup of the district.
