Cross country race 1970, this is obviously not a professional action photo but was taken by my mother with a relatively simple camera. I positioned her by the fence and told her I would be the first one over, which I was.

Oh boy..., I'll play. Circa 84'. My first multi day tour. Organized by the Save Mono Lake Committee. Departed the DWP holding ponds in downtown LA amongst a healthy amount of local news coverage. Rode 340 miles over 5 days to return our token test tube vials of water back to Mono lake and raise awareness
as to the shenanigans DWP was engaged in. Proud of our small contribution. Mono still fills my soul with every subsequent I am grateful to make.
