    Thanks for posting these, Guy.

Saves me time having to winnow the news.

As a data point to all: my wife came down with this in January- she had every symptom and was at the time clearing out our apartment in NYC after the landlord bought us out because it was rent stabilized. Three people she came into contact with also got sick: two she had dinner with and a farrier she knows who came by the barn. All were out of commission for ten days at least and continue to have trouble breathing. She thought it was the flu and tested negative, but was given a course of antibiotics for pneumonia. I took care of her and did not get sick, nor did our two children, one of whom has asthma. The two she had dinner with are not the picture of health by a long shot and it's truly a miracle one of them did not die as he is a wreck physically and in his eighties. He just sat in a chair for days unable to breathe, calling no one for help. A tough bastard.

What makes her certain are the stories coming out about a loss of appetite and the sense of smell and taste. This lasted for a week or so.

I was in my shop listening to NPR-the press briefing was on..

The reporter stated there were 5 senators in quarantine, Don said, ‘who are they?’ The reporter listed the names, Don said ‘Romney, Mitt Romney-oh that’s too bad’. With the shittiest of tones-what a shitstain on humanity

Opinion | This Stimulus Bill Will Not Save the Economy From Collapse - The New York Times

"The worst thing Congress and the Trump administration could do would be to chase a collapsing economy downward, with aid packages that are too modest at each step of the way, as Herbert Hoover did. We need to get ahead of this collapse now, and we have a superb model in the World War II mobilization."

Scary stuff. Hope they are recovering... I have heard several stories of folks having a strange flu like illness in the early january time frame. It definitely was making the rounds earlier than has been acknowledged...

Fauci gets frank about Trump: ‘I can’t jump in front of the microphone and push him down’ | Washington Post

When asked Sunday by Science magazine’s Jon Cohen about having to stand in front of the nation as “the representative of truth and facts” when “things are being said that aren’t true and aren’t factual,” the 79-year-old said there is only so much he can do.

“I can’t jump in front of the microphone and push him down,” Fauci said, referencing Trump. “Okay, he said it. Let’s try and get it corrected for the next time.”

or maybe there are just cruel people out there hiding behind masks of civility with prayer and thoughts. nobody actually likes bullies, some folks just revert to their childish selves wrapped in ego in the face of a bully. some people think bullies are strong, not understanding the psychology of the bully. Poor Donald, hes never known what its like to be loved... admired or feared perhaps, but never loved.

Rupert Murdoch Put His Son in Charge of Fox. It Was a Dangerous Mistake. - The New York Times

“People act like Fox is a virus — beyond our control,” said Bill Kristol, who worked for the Murdochs for 15 years and appeared on Fox until 2012. “There are people who run it, who have responsibility for it, and they could be held accountable.”

Well, that commitment to social distancing from the President lasted longer than I thought it did, honestly.

Why is *putting every State in competition with each other as well as foreign entities for medical resources a good thing?

The very real outcome for lack of Executive oversight.

thats how you get the best deals, duh, we have a deals president, not a statesman. hes not here to help people, hes here to make all kinds of deals on somebody else's dime, this time instead of Daddys dime, its ours.

really though we shouldnt worry, this is the most America first president ever, again, duh.

Because then, he doesn't have to do anything. "I don't take any responsibility for that."

The elite Rand Paul had his test 6 or 7 days ago. He's been infecting people until yesterday morning when he finished his visit to the gym and got the news he's positive. Nice going fucktard!
