    Default Fisker Ocean - Intriguing

This thing: Fisker | Meet The Fisker Ocean, The World's Most Sustainable Vehicle | Fisker, Inc.

I'm somewhat familiar with Fisker. As in the company that built the Karma. A car with mixed reviews and perhaps a bit ahead of it's time. Ultimately, that car killed the company but not due to car design and/or manufacturing of the car per se but the battery manufacturing. Fisker Automotive - Wikipedia

However, I think those initial issues may be worked out, positioning the company in a better environment to succeed. So maybe that's why the Ocean is intriguing.

Styling is in the 'not bad' category.
Cost (if holds to current figures) puts it in the 'why the hell not' range.
Performance and range is what we become to expect from respected EVs.
Manufactured from recycled shit humans already put in the environment.
    Delivering in 2022.

    Any thoughts?

I wish there was about 10x the info on the site, but it's pretty solid in the looks department. Would drive*.

Agree. There's a lot of assumptions in regards to the final product - in design and specs. I can't help be a little skeptical when I see the estimated price and viewing the photos.

This is kind of like Serotta version X. Fisker was around for a few years, delivered some sexy(ish) electric cars and then disappeared.

So welcome back. I'm skeptical that they'll be around long enough for warranty issues.

I used to be a gearhead but now I fail to be impressed by anything automotive related and I dream about a car less future. They are such an annoyance, especially in the cities.

On the other hand, give me electric motorbikes please.

Friend of mine just went to work for Rivian. I wish these EVs would be less futuristic styling and offer a somewhat contemporary look. The Tesla Model S looks good, but god the Tesla truck, Rivians, and this look turrible (this being the least awful).

I saw a Fisker Karma on the streets of Las Vegas last December, with large lettering on the side that proclaimed it was a test vehicle. I wondered what year it was for just a moment, then was reminded by the "Aerosmith Las Vegas Residency" billboard.

Is this the same company that makes the orange handled scissors?

If so, the scissors seem good. Would definitely drive them down the freeway.
