    This is near Muir Beach, barely 5 miles north of SF as the crow flies but about a 30 min drive. It always strikes me as the ultimate example of "location, location, location".

    I took this photo from Spindrift Point, which belonged to the sailor/author Charles Borden in the 60s. He donated the land and his tiny cabin to a conservation org, which now manages it as a preserve and staff retreat. My partner works for the org and we occasionally get to spend a weekend there.
