Corso, you asked for clarification or information.

You got some, first hand, and in an article which plows no new or controversial evaluations on racism and relevant party evolution.

Do your still think that racism has no bearing the proposition that a non-trivial percentage of white racists will refuse to support an African American candidate? That's pretty germaine.

Your other comments don't merit comment.

Bloomberg Campaign officials confirmed to Josh Lederman of NBC News that Mike Bloomberg will *NOT* stand on a box during tonight's debate.
Why exactly would their officials contact this particular NBC News reporter to provide clarification in advance? Why is this of concern to them?

I think the full tweet explains it: Twitter
    NEW: Campaign officials tell
    @NBCNews
that Mike Bloomberg will *NOT* stand on a box during tonight's debate, despite Trump's repeated claims that he requested one to boost his height
I think it's the "nuh-uh" response to schoolyard bullying.

From a strategic perspective (with all eyes on Senator Sanders and Mayor Bloomberg) tonight...if running his campaign I would have ignored it.
Another development today is the very likable Andrew Yang will now be a political commentator. He and Marianne Williamson were my favorites.

Unfortunately, "likeability" is very far down the list of criteria Americans use when choosing their president.

(or at least it was in 2016)

They didn't contact him. 100% sure he asked them. And clearly Bloomberg has taken the campaign approach of punching back and not letting anything from Trump off with a "we won't dignify that with a response" response. The general would just be two obnoxious New Yorkers sniping at each other.

Based on momentum...it looks like Senator Sanders is the Democrat favorite going into the Nevada debate tonight.

Apropros of absolutely nothing: I was catching a flight to Detroit last Wednesday morning out of Logan, and as I walked towards the JetBlue check-in I saw a guy who looked an awful lot like Andrew Yang, standing nearly all by his lonesome and busy with his phone. The back of which was covered with Yang stickers. And the young guy standing near him was sporting a nice Yang t-shirt and a forlorn look.

Yep. A quick check of the interweb told me that, having suspended his campaign, Yang was heading to Las Vegas to thank his staff.

This is what it looks like at the end of the campaign trail, at least for most of the contenders.
    GO!

Andrew Yang seems absolutely decent plus totally caring for his spouse.

Jorn, Yes, I certainly did over react. I do apologize. I don't appreciate it when it happens (often) to me, so I do get it.

Message received. Appreciate the fair and balanced moderating.

I've been off the bike since I broke my collarbone in August. I'm just super grump and perhaps passing it along here. I can't even do push ups Josh assigns!

From a guy named Ed, “The last time I saw a man pay tens of millions of dollars to get his ass beaten like Bloomberg just did, I was in a BDSM club in Monaco with the heirs to the Onassis fortune having a ‘who can do the most cocaine’ race.”

In other words, Mayor Mike brought a wallet to a gun fight.

We are simply destined not to agree on too much. My sarcastic reply was based on your linked article that was (IMO) biased. You apparently don't think it was. So there we have it.

I NEVER said racism didn't exist. Not once, not ever. But the thought that it is sole property of one political party (IMO) is absurd.

Forget the racism for a moment...how about ageism?

    Warren - 70.

    Trump - 73

Biden, Bloomberg and Sanders - 78.

On top of this, Sanders just had a heart attack and Trump eats rubbish and is overweight.

70 should be okay, but a 78 year old heart attack victim?

Surely there is someone in the 50-65 age bracket who has the chops to do the job?

There is indeed a provision for the question you posed for voters. People are encouraged to write-in their choices in November.

I didn't pose a question to voters. I posed a question on a web forum!

As long as 1) Sanders can beat Trump, and 2) he picks a decent VP, his age matters not one whit.

If there's someone out there who's younger and can win, then by all means, go for it.

The point is there doesn't seem to be anyone out there who is younger and can win. Which is odd in such a large country.

Being 70 plus is not exactly the best time of your life to be tackling a very difficult and stressful job (well Trump aside as he seems to spend his time on twitter or watching rubbish current affairs or playing golf and is an exception to the rule).

Senator Sanders youthfully carried himself like a person several decades younger tonight. He did very well.
