Default seattube replacement on a new frame

    Sadly not-such a hypothetical situation:

a brand new mountain bike frame for a client needs to have the fillet brazed seat tube replaced.

Is this a case for a entire rebuild, or would you replace the seat tube?

    Why for the replacement?

Either way, that's a motherlode of labor in order to get back a frame that's new but now been through so many heat and reheat cycles.

Further - you made this frame? If so, do you have the skill set to rebuild it (this is more advanced than the first time through)?

Is this for warranty, or for a possible paycheck?
