If it was me, for a $3K bike-hauling rig that I wanted to be basically safe and dependable? Minivan all day long.
I'm buying the E500 Wagon from Lynn.
Plus $200 worth of leather cleaner!
GO!
If you weren't riding XL bikes I would have said Honda Fit. Maybe it could still work without removing the wheel when leaving the passenger seat folded. Dropper posts have made ingress/eggress of large bike inside cars much easier than in the past.

99 Audi A4 1.8t wagon, 5 speed manual, AWD - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale
Back the truck up...what's wrong with the SeaSucker rack you have?
I'm kind of have the view that all cars are a pain in the arse to own, and one that you are already planning to only use a few times a month would increase that tendency. It's almost certain not to work when you need it. Or you won't be able to find the keys. Or. Or.
Go Get. Some sort of Rental club thing like that would be my way forward. Course you could just put tyres on your car that make it car like!

Incorrect. A good wrap in addition to a ceramic coating can cost upwards of $5,000 and is worth it because it protects the paint on your car (i.e. GT3) which protects the car value which protects your money if you ever sell it. Ask yourself this question: What are the odds Lionel will sell that GT3 in the foreseeable future?
