FYI - Kyushu Culinary Tour, November 3-15, 2019

Our downstairs neighbor is Japanese and a chef named Hiroko Shimbo who has written several cookbooks (see her website here - Hiroko's Kitchen |.) She grabbed me in the lobby this afternoon and said she has opening for two people (double-occupancy, share a room, couple, pals, etc.) in one of her gastronomic extravaganzas in Japan this fall, specifically to Kyushu, the southernmost of the main islands of Japan. The only reason I put this here is that I know there is quite a bit of interest in Japan as expressed by several threads on this forum by people who have visited or want to visit, plus there is always plenty of interest in fine dining, refined spirits, and high culture, all of which are available in bounteous amounts on one of Hiroko's tours. Plus Hiroko is a cool person with a good sense of humor and adventurousness.

Take the tour and eat them all!

I walk past their apartment nearly everyday and the cooking smells are amazing. Makes whatever we are cooking seem like grass and sticks.
