Punk - After 2005?

Folks,

I find myself hitting up the same 10-15 albums when I'm in a mood to listen to some aggro punk. I'm pretty sure nothing I'm listening to was made after 2005 -- also pretty sure 90% of it was made before 1996.
I reached out to a few friends and they're all drawing blanks. So I'm turning to the collective mind. Has anything exceptional landed in the past 14 years? I'm sure it has, right?

Here's what I want: The first time I listened to Repeater I shivered. I literally had goosebumps. I want that again.

Everybody just smokes weed and listens to doom metal and stoner rock.

I second whoever suggested Screaming Females. PUP out of Canada are great and are active. Cloud Nothings are still in heavy rotation for me. Although not much like Fugazi, if you turn on the PUP radio on Spotify, there has been a ton of modern stuff that I have really been into lately.

The Lawrence Arms are going on a small tour at the end of the summer that I'm stoked about.

Also, if you're just looking for something to listen to, listen to Damian Abraham's (of Fucked Up) podcast, Turned Out a Punk, lots of good conversations there.

But I agree, I have been having a tough time finding new music lately, especially if you want to see something live (in Buffalo, NY at least).

To the OP: You want bands since 2005 that sound like a specific set of bands from before 2005? Sorry I can't help you and I'm probably glad about that since (1) I don't want new bands that sound like old bands and (2) I never have understood "punk" as a specific sound, but rather as an artist's commitment to follow his/her muse to where it flowers.

I've been listening to a guy who's band opened for the Pistol's final show, Alejandro Escovedo. He even has a song about Sid & Nancy ("It makes no sense/It makes perfect sense")
Ted Leo channels the spirit of the Clash while sounding like himself.
Sleater Kinney should be releasing a new record later this year.
Joanna Newsom is probably the most iconoclastic artist I've been enraptured with recently. She play the harp.

Does Gnod count? I can see why it wouldn't, but I honestly don't know what gets to count as punk or not. Anyway, I love this album.
